Salary Grade F Points 14 to 19 (£29,540 to £32,061 Full Time Equivalent), subject to pro rata. Minimum actual pro‑rata salary £25,520.47.

About the role
Senior Cover Supervisor (full‑time, permanent) joining the academy in June 2026.
Responsibilities
- Manage cover for day‑to‑day and longer‑term absences for teaching staff, minimising disruption to learning.
- Book and organise cover arrangements, while providing supervision of pupil learning within the academy.
- Respond to questions, assist students in undertaking set activities and uphold standards of behaviour in the classroom.
- Work alongside teaching and classroom‑based staff to provide general support for departments.
- Use ICT and various software packages in the course of duty.
Qualifications
- Experience in cover supervision or similar role in an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- ICT literate and competent in the use of a range of software packages.
