What You Will Do
- Design and scale robust backend systems and PostgreSQL architectures to handle complex document processing and rapidly growing data volumes.
- Build and maintain core API infrastructure and third‑party integrations that power sophisticated AI‑driven patent drafting and litigation workflows.
- Take end‑to‑end ownership of foundational architectural decisions, moving from ideation to production deployments with rapid feedback loops.
The ideal candidate
- Expert Python developer with a strong track record of building production‑grade backend systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrable intellectual horsepower, such as top‑tier academic performance (Cambridge/Oxford/Imperial/MIT), Math/CS Olympiad medals, or technically complex project history.
- High‑intensity builder mentality with the drive to thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment and a bias toward shipping code over research.
