A market-leading and well-respected Global Lloyd's Broker, are now seeking a Senior Account Handler, with their successful US Casualty Division.
Within this exciting position, the post-holder provides day-to-day account servicing and technical support to placing brokers and plays a key part in ensuring timely and accurate policy administration, timely invoicing, and exceptional level of client service.
Role Responsibilities
- Prepare London Market Casualty MRC slips, endorsements, adjustments, and client documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
- Review submissions and develop compelling broking presentations for the market.
- Partner closely with brokers to prioritise workload and address any missing or inaccurate information.
- Support lead brokers while building and maintaining strong relationships with both London and international markets across assigned accounts.
- Maintain clear, effective communication and strong organisational standards in all aspects of the role.
- Contribute as a collaborative team member, committed to delivering exceptional service to US retail clients.
- Ensure all required information is accurately recorded, documented, and agreed with relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with the Claims team to coordinate activity in the event of a loss.
- Maintain and update account sheets, revenue trackers, and budget documentation.
- Develop strong working relationships with global colleagues and external partners.
- Utilise Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) or equivalent tools effectively.
- Support the team in maintaining and updating market appetite documentation.
About You
- A minimum if 3-5 years + of experience in a Broker Support / Account Handler role for a Lloyd\'s accredited Broker
- Experience in creating London Market Casualty Slips and Endorsements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal kills
- Strong understanding of casualty policy wordings, clauses, and their practical application.
- Working knowledge of PPL (Placing Platform Limited).
