The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality nursing care to patients and their families.
Key Requirements
- 1st Level Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years experience working as a Band 5 Registered Nurse or a Band 6 registered nurse with palliative experience
- A dedication to ongoing professional development and improving team collaboration
- Current NMC pin registration
- Experience in an acute NHS or palliative care setting
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and support to the nursing team, promoting high standards of patient care.
- Demonstrate a proactive, collaborative, and innovative approach in all aspects of the clinical environment.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent care delivery.
- Demonstrate passion for delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring patient safety and well-being at all times.
- Take responsibility for holding the IMPaCT out-of-hours phone during weekdays and weekends, ensuring continuity of care and support during non-core hours.
- Assist in the development and implementation of best practices and clinical guidelines.
