Role Overview

We are seeking senior house officer grade doctors to join our team at St Mary’s Hospital Emergency Department as junior clinical fellows. This six-month fixed‑term post commencing in August 2026 is an exciting opportunity to work in a Central London major trauma centre at a renowned university teaching hospital.

Responsibilities

The clinical commitment comprises a full shift pattern, including out‑of‑hours work, early, late and night shifts providing 24‑hour cover with a 1 in 3 weekend commitment. The shift pattern is new‑deal compliant with a 1A banding.

Post-holder will be allocated an educational supervisor and access to weekly departmental teaching, audit, quality improvement projects and research participation. Opportunities to take part in training rotations and support for applying to a training post or completing exams.
