Duties & Responsibilities
- Run consults with confidence, communicating treatment plans clearly
- Perform routine and some advanced soft‑tissue surgeries
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team to deliver outstanding inpatient care
- Contribute to a positive, learning‑led practice culture
Skills
- Strong communicator who builds rapport quickly with clients and colleagues
- Calm decision‑maker with solid surgical and medical skills
- Comfortable with routine imaging and point‑of‑care diagnostics
- Team‑oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- Organised, reliable and proactive in a busy first‑opinion setting
Qualifications
- Experience in UK small‑animal first opinion practice
- Confidence with routine surgery and consults
- Further certifications or a desire to pursue them welcomed
