The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Charge Nurse to lead within a specialised haemato‑oncology inpatient unit. This pivotal leadership role is within a 10‑bedged haemato‑oncology service, delivering a comprehensive, patient‑centred approach to care. You will utilise advanced clinical knowledge and highly developed skills to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients with complex needs.

You will provide visible and effective leadership to the nursing and wider multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of care are consistently maintained. You will be responsible for managing the ward environment, workforce and resources to support efficient service delivery and achieve excellent patient outcomes. The successful candidate will promote a culture of continuous improvement, quality assurance and professional development, ensuring care is delivered in line with local and national standards and best practice.
