An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our expanding and highly supportive inpatient team as a Clinical Mental Health Pharmacist. The post is based at The Harbour Hospital in Blackpool, covering a range of mental health wards, including psychiatric intensive care units, acute adult mental health wards, older adult advanced care and dementia wards, and a Section 136 suite.

The role offers an ideal opportunity for a pharmacist who may wish to enhance their current knowledge base within the mental health field or who is already working at this level. We are a supportive Medicines Management Team and can offer many opportunities for pharmacists to build on their current expertise. We encourage all team members to identify, develop, and feel empowered to improve their skills. Hospital and/or mental health experience is desirable but not essential, as we offer an award‑winning in‑house training programme designed to support the successful candidate in developing the necessary skills and confidence for the role.
