Position Overview
We are looking to appoint 2 Senior Clinical Fellows to commence as soon as possible. The appointment is for a 1‑year fixed‑term period, with the possibility of a further 12‑month extension.
Responsibilities and Training Opportunities
- Direct Consultant supervision and an educational programme that includes annual appraisal, 4‑monthly supervisor meetings, access to an e‑portfolio and relevant study leave.
- Encouraged to undertake audit and quality improvement projects.
- Supported to pursue membership examinations in the chosen specialty.
- Opportunities to develop formal teaching or research.
- Experience in Urology, appropriate for candidates who have completed Basic Surgical Training and wish to broaden their experience before moving on to Higher Surgical Training.
- Optional academic study (e.g., MSc/BEd) with protected study time available as part of the job plan.
Qualifications
- Completion of Basic Surgical Training.
- Strong interest and ability to engage in audit, quality improvement and educational activities.
