Electrician / Multi Skilled Engineer

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Domestic Electrician / Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a well-established manufacturing company. This role focuses on carrying out domestic-style electrical work across company-owned manufacturing property.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for stable, weekday work within a long-term employer.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs on domestic-style systems (lighting, sockets, consumer units, wiring, and small installations)
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults
• Perform periodic inspection and testing (EICRs where required)
• Support basic mechanical maintenance tasks
• Ensure all work complies with current wiring regulations (18th Edition)
• Maintain accurate records of work completed
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard

Requirements

• Qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential or preferred)
• Experience in domestic electrical work
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
• Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Good communication and practical approach to maintenance work
