Job Description
We are seeking a talented People System Engineer to support a high-profile global deployment programme. This role plays a key part in our HR Transformation initiative, with responsibilities including the collection and analysis of requirements to enhance HR systems such as Oracle HCM.
The successful candidate will manage ticket queries in line with service level agreements (SLAs) using our case management system, and contribute to ongoing system improvements through requirement gathering, issue resolution, and change management activities.
What you’ll be doing
- Enhancing our ATS, Careers site, and CRM, ensuring seamless integration with payroll systems to align with L&G HR policies and processes. Support Oracle HCM Cloud Modules (Global HR, Compensation, Absence Management, Learning and Performance, HR Helpdesk) as needed
- Providing continuous support for payroll and ATS, and assist with Oracle HCM cloud applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently via case management
- Utilising strong knowledge of payroll systems to align with the BAU calendar, manage changes to benefits and pay reviews, and identify and resolve integration issues
- Overseeing quarterly updates for ATS and Oracle HCM, and implement necessary updates to our payroll system
- Working closely with HR and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document HR system requirements, translating them into our ATS and Oracle systems
- Partnering with internal L&G teams, including IT, Data, and Integrations, to ensure design, functionality, and processes align with change impact analysis for downstream functionality
- Developing and maintaining detailed documentation, including user guides, standard operating procedures, and configuration workbooks
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Oracle HCM is crucial
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices
- Proficiency in payroll systems and tools
- Strong understanding of payroll processes
- Ability to analyse complex HR requirements and design effective solutions within Oracle HCM
- Ensure data integrity and security within Oracle HCM
- Hands‑on experience in cloud implementation, configuration, and customization
- Experience of being part of an HCM transformation and awareness of quarterly releases with Oracle
