You will play a key role in delivering high-quality structural assessments and technical advice across a diverse portfolio of buildings. Working with modern digital tools, you’ll carry out inspections and produce real-time reports, contributing to efficient and client-focused service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting detailed inspections of a wide range of structures, from traditional to modern builds
- Producing accurate, site-based digital reports
- Developing specifications for repair and remedial works
- Supporting insurance-related assessments, including subsidence and structural damage
- Collaborating with senior leadership and providing regular project updates
- Contributing ideas to improve processes, technology use, and overall service offering
About You
About You
We’re looking for a technically strong and motivated individual who enjoys problem-solving and embraces new technology.
You should have:
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Several years of post-graduate experience focused on structural inspections and defect analysis
- Solid understanding of both traditional and modern construction methods
- Strong IT skills and confidence using digital reporting tools
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
The following would be advantageous but not essential:
- Professional membership (such as working toward chartership)
- Experience with heritage or historic structures
- Exposure to insurance-related structural assessments
