Electrical Engineer Surveyor
Location: Elgin, Aberdeen or Inverness Areas
Salary: Basic from £40,500 plus Car Allowance and a Full Benefits Package (up to £53,466 after Year 2)
Shift: Days, Monday – Friday, Flexible Working Hours
Job Role
A standout opportunity for an Electrical Engineer Surveyor to join a leading inspection consultancy. The role involves prolonging the life and safety of electrical equipment by spotting defects early and ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
Responsibilities
- Complete quality assessments and inspections of fixed wiring installations and electrical plant equipment.
- Carry out detailed reporting.
- Ensure customers are compliant with vital regulations governing their industry in the UK.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Level 3 Electrical Engineering based qualification.
- Significant experience working as a domestic or industrial electrician.
- Strong electrical background with testing and inspection experience.
- Ability to communicate complex and technical problems.
- Must live in the Elgin, Aberdeen or Inverness areas.
Desirable Requirements
- NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working within hazardous environments (COMPEX).
