Electrical Supervisor – Carlisle Support Services

We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor based at our Hackney Wick office to support the Arriva Rail London contract. You will oversee the daily running of hard services, manage a small team of engineers, and ensure all statutory compliance and engineering efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain statutory compliance and HSQe requirements
  • Conduct engineers’ appraisals and performance management
  • Attend client meetings and provide technical guidance to the site team
  • Supervisor and escort subcontractors, vet RAMS and safe systems of work
  • Carry out surveys, compile quotations for remedial works and small projects
  • Manage reactive faults and PPMs in partnership with the scheduling team
  • Assist the contract manager to optimise operational performance and engineering efficiency
  • Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with internal clients and key stakeholders
  • Deliver engineer and site audits in line with company health & safety policy
  • Provide PDA field training for new and existing engineers when required
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover for other team members if required

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Time Served Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Experience managing a team of engineers
  • PTS training and JIB card (Sentinel card preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience on TfL or rail contracts is a plus
  • CCS and full UK driving licence (duplicate removed)
