Band 6 Rehabilitation Engineer | Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

We are looking to recruit a qualified and registered Rehabilitation Engineer (Clinical Technologist / Clinical Scientist) to join the Rehabilitation Engineer Service. The role is primarily based in Warwickshire Wheelchair Service and supports wheelchair users across the West Midlands.

Responsibilities

• Undertake assessment of postural and mobility needs for wheelchair service users.
• Create innovative and safe solutions to meet assessed clinical needs, aligned with relevant legislation and the ISO13485:2016 QMS.
• Participate in an active CPD and Clinical Supervision programme within a team of over 25 staff.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered healthcare science practitioner (clinical technologist).
