What does our Risk Assurance and Advisory team do?
Our Risk, Assurance and Advisory team plays a vital role in assisting our clients to achieve their strategic objectives. We provide assurance and consulting services to improve clients’ governance, risk management, and control processes, adding value and ensuring operations are effective, efficient, and compliant.
We undertake a systematic review of internal systems, processes, and controls to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements for better decision‑making and overall performance.
We work with predominantly not‑for‑profit public sector businesses and organisations to evaluate how well risks are being managed, how the business is running, and whether current internal processes are sufficient or could be improved.
What do we look for?
- Individuals who are collaborative and eager to take on new challenges
- A minimum of a 2:2 undergraduate degree in any discipline
- Minimum of 2 × A levels (A‑C) and one other A level or equivalent
- 5 GCSEs grades A*‑C or 9‑4 (including Maths and English Language or equivalent)
- Ability to absorb new information and adapt quicklyComfortable working with numbers and demonstrating strong attention to detail
- Clear and thoughtful written and verbal communication skills
- Able to explain financial information in an accessible and supportive manner
