Leggwork are working with a well-established and growing Surveying & Geospatial specialist delivering high-quality survey services across civil engineering, infrastructure and utilities sectors throughout the UK.
Due to continued project demand, they are looking to recruit a Topographical Surveyor to support ongoing works across Yorkshire and the North of England. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive company delivering survey solutions across a range of infrastructure and development projects.
Summary
- Conduct topographical surveys using Total Stations and GPS equipment
- Work on infrastructure and development projects across Yorkshire

Responsibilities
- Carry out Topographical surveys in line with project specifications and client requirements
- Operate survey equipment including Total Stations and GPS systems to collect accurate site data
- Process and record survey information, ensuring accuracy and quality of deliverables
- Work both independently and as part of a survey team on infrastructure and development projects
- Identify and report site issues, anomalies or variations during survey operations
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance on site
- Ensure all survey outputs are delivered within required project timelines
Requirements
- Proven experience undertaking Topographical surveys
- Competent using Total Stations, GPS equipment and survey data collection systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to manage workload independently while working collaboratively with teams
- Understanding of health and safety requirements on construction or infrastructure sites
- Full UK driving licence (company vehicle provided)
Desirable Experience
- Surveying qualification such as QCF, TSA or degree in Surveying or Geospatial disciplines
- Experience working within civil engineering, construction, utilities or infrastructure projects
