The Role As Deputy Manager

You’ll work closely with the General Manager to lead the day‑to‑day running of the venue. You’ll take ownership across all areas of service—ensuring the bar, kitchen, and floor work seamlessly together to deliver a consistently high standard experience.

You’ll be a visible leader on shift, supporting and motivating the team, stepping in where needed, and ensuring service runs smoothly even at its busiest. From guest interactions to team coaching, you’ll help create a positive, high‑energy environment where standards and morale stay high.

You’ll also play a key role behind the scenes—supporting rotas, performance management, training, and operational planning to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in daily operations and overall site performance
• Lead shifts across all areas, ensuring smooth, efficient service
• Inspire, train, and develop team members to deliver great guest experiences
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and supplier management
• Monitor sales, labour, and cost performance to support profitability
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance
• Step up and take ownership when the General Manager is off‑site

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, or strong supervisory role
• Confident leader with a hands‑on, people‑first approach
• Strong operational awareness in a high‑volume hospitality environment
• Ability to stay calm, organised, and focused under pressure
• Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and guest experience
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
