Job Title: Business Development & Partnerships Officer
Overview
Our client is seeking a Business Development & Partnerships Officer to join their London-based team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role follows a hybrid working model, with approximately 40% of time spent in-person and 60% remote.
This position is ideal for a proactive professional with experience in business development or fundraising who is motivated to drive new partnerships and support long-term growth. You will play a key role in expanding corporate relationships and strengthening engagement within a specialist sector.
Salary: £34,894 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new partnership opportunities in line with strategic objectives
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective partners using CRM systems, tracking progress, next steps, and conversion targets
- Develop and deliver tailored account and partnership plans to meet income and engagement KPIs
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing partners through effective stewardship and engagement strategies
- Represent the organisation at key industry events, exhibitions, and conferences
- Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership activities with wider organisational goals
- Ensure all work reflects commitments to equity, inclusion, and safeguarding
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in business development, income generation, or fundraising
- Strong research and planning capabilities with a structured, methodical approach
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results across projects and teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presentations and stakeholder engagement
- Confidence engaging with external stakeholders in both virtual and face-to-face environments
- Experience within the not-for-profit or voluntary sector
- Familiarity with industry partnerships or sector-specific ecosystems
- Experience delivering exhibitions, events, or conference activations
