Quality Inspector (Req/679279) Larkhall, Scotland

Salary: GBP 27,040 per annum

Location: Larkhall, South Lanarkshire, Scotland

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday rotational shift covering back, early and night shift.

Responsibilities

• Create first-off to set the quality standard for all subsequent parts to be ran.
• Carry out quality checks at various stages of the process ensuring standards maintained.
• Deal with any ad‑hoc quality concerns, supporting the operations teams as required.
• Inspect parts against master part to ensure quality standards achieved.
• Identify product faults and problem‑solve to implement remedial action.
• Develop and implement quality control audit plans.
• Ensure right quantity of packaging and correct packaging of parts.
• Sign off final product / back up final recordings.
• Use numeracy skills to confirm data / product number accuracy.
• Accurately record data and input into computerised system.

Qualifications

• Confidence making quality critical decisions based on information available.
• Excellent numeracy and computer literacy skills.
• Proven track record of attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate with a variety of different departments.
• Solid work history and enthusiastic can‑do work attitude.
