Applications are invited for the post of Deputy Programme Manager for The Herts & West Essex Diabetic Eye Screening Programme (HWEDESP).

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the quality assurance and performance of the new Programme that commenced on 1st April 2024. This is a fixed term post for 15 months.

Based at Sandridge Gate in St Albans, the post holder will be required to support the Programme manager in the day-to-day operational management of the programme including collating and producing comprehensive reports on programme performance, audit, and Internal Quality Assurance.

The deputy programme manager will also support with ensuring adherence to Service Quality Standards, Key Performance Indicators, and Contractual Performance and Activity reports. The successful applicant will be required to represent the HWEDESP at Programme Board meetings and national events.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team with the aim of reducing preventable sight loss from diabetic retinopathy for people in the Herts & West Essex ICB area who live with diabetes.
