Overview
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Treasury Operations Analyst within our Cross Border line of business. This position is part of our Cross Border Operations team and is located in London (Paddington), UK.
In this role, you will provide Treasury Operations & Liquidity Support, supporting daily cash positioning and liquidity monitoring across internal and external bank accounts. You’ll also support day-to-day settlement flows and prefunding arrangements with sponsor banks and scheme providers, assist with safeguarding operations and work on liquidity, funding and settlement reports. This role reports to the Head of Operations and collaborates with Operations, Finance, Compliance and beyond.
Work arrangement: hybrid office environment.

Role Responsibilities
- Treasury Operations & Liquidity Support: Support daily cash positioning and liquidity monitoring across all internal and external bank accounts.
- Settlement funding: Assist with the execution and monitoring of settlement funding for payment schemes (e.g. Faster Payments, SEPA, SWIFT, card schemes).
- Funding adequacy: Ensure accounts are adequately funded to meet intraday and end-of-day settlement obligations.
- Funding activities: Support intraday and end-of-day funding activities to ensure settlement obligations are met.
- Contingency funding: Assist with contingency funding processes and stress liquidity scenarios.
- Settlements & Banking Operations: Support day-to-day settlement flows and prefunding arrangements with sponsor banks and scheme providers.
- Relationship management: Assist in managing operational relationships with banks and payment partners.
- Issue resolution: Investigate and help resolve settlement breaks, failed payments and other funding issues.
- Onboarding: Support the onboarding of new bank accounts, payment rails and scheme connectivity from an operational perspective.
- Documentation: Maintain settlement timetables, cut-off schedules and reference documentation.
- Safeguarding & Regulatory Support: Assist with safeguarding operations in line with FCA EMI requirements.
- Reconciliations: Monitor safeguarding account balances and assist with safeguarding reconciliations.
- Regulatory & audits: Prepare data and schedules for regulatory reporting, audits and compliance requests; support internal and external audit requests relating to treasury and settlements.
- Policy alignment: Ensure treasury activities are aligned with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
- Controls, Reporting & Process Improvement: Prepare and maintain liquidity, funding and settlement reports for internal stakeholders; operate within established controls (maker/checker and approvals); identify process inefficiencies and contribute ideas for automation or improvement; support incident tracking, issue investigation and remediation actions; maintain/update treasury and settlements procedures.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a point of contact for treasury-related queries from Operations, Finance and Compliance; liaise with banks, payment schemes and service providers on routine operational matters; escalate risks, issues and dependencies to senior team members in a timely manner.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in treasury operations, liquidity, settlements or payments operations.
- Exposure to payment schemes and settlement processes within an EMI, payments firm, PSP or fintech.
- Experience working with multiple bank accounts and currencies.
- Awareness of FCA safeguarding requirements for EMIs.
- Strong operational mindset with attention to detail and control.
- Ability to work calmly with time-critical funding and settlement deadlines.
- Strong Excel skills and ability to work with operational data.
Desirable Skills
- Experience supporting regulatory reporting or audit preparation.
- Exposure to new payment rails or banking partner set-ups.
- Familiarity with treasury management systems, banking portals or payment platforms.
- Interest in developing treasury and liquidity risk knowledge in a regulated environment.
