As Purchasing Manager / Procurement Manager you will:


• Lead and inspire a team of Buyers, developing capability and driving high performance (you’ll bring proven experience doing this already)

• Take ownership of sourcing strategies across electro-mechanical components and commodities

• Drive improvements in cost, delivery, and inventory, directly impacting business performance

• Build strong, strategic supplier relationships and lead key negotiations

• Use ERP systems to unlock insights, improve visibility, and support decision-making

• Champion continuous improvement using Lean methodologies such as Kanban and 5S

• Partner closely with engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure procurement supports business goals

To succeed in the highly autonomous role, you will ideally have:

  • A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to influence and lead change
  • At least 2+ years’ experience leading a team of Buyers
  • Strong background in engineering or manufacturing environments
  • Proven experience sourcing electro-mechanical commodities
  • A track record of delivering cost savings and improving supplier performance
  • Experience working with ERP/ MRP systems or SAP
