Senior Account Executive: B2B PR and Communications

About the Role

As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality PR and communications programmes across a range of B2B and tech clients. You’ll be hands-on in programme execution, media relations, and content development, while building your confidence in client management and strategic thinking.

This is a hybrid role, based in London or Tunbridge Wells, and home.

Your Role

• Support the day-to-day running of client accounts, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery
• Contribute to integrated programme planning and execution across PR, content, and digital channels, including drafting press materials (press releases, comments, case studies, social content)
• Monitor media coverage and report on programme performance with clear, actionable insights
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media contacts, proactively pitching stories, securing coverage, and identifying newsjacking and reactive opportunities
• Support thought leadership and executive profiling opportunities
• Work collaboratively with Account Managers and Account Directors to deliver integrated campaigns, while contributing to a positive team culture and supporting interns or work experience students where appropriate
• Participate actively in team meetings, brainstorms, and wider agency initiatives
• Contribute to new business activity through research, content development, and administrative support, including preparing credentials, case studies, and media lists for pitches
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client documents, media lists, and reporting materials
• Manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively, ensuring accurate time tracking and efficient account delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrable experience in a PR agency or communications role (2+ years of experience), ideally with a B2B background
• Proven ability to deliver media coverage and build journalist relationships
• Excellent writing, organisational, and communication skills
• A genuine interest in current affairs and the news agenda
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take ownership
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with genuine enthusiasm for PR
• Team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced, hybrid agency environment
