Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking to recruit an Associate to join its Restructuring & Insolvency team in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the most well-established and collaborative practices in the UK with a strong national and cross-office presence.
The successful candidate will advise a broad range of clients, including office holders, lenders, directors and other stakeholders, on both transactional and contentious insolvency matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Advising on a wide range of restructuring and insolvency issues
- Acting on distressed business sales and asset transactions
- Managing insolvency litigation matters, including breach of duty and antecedent transactions
- Managing a caseload with appropriate supervision
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex and high-value matters
- Developing and maintaining client relationships
- Contributing to business development and marketing initiatives
Candidates should be qualified solicitors with a minimum of 4 years’ post-qualification experience and exposure to both contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring work. A strong commercial approach, technical ability, and the confidence to manage matters independently are essential.
