Social Worker – Children’s Services – Surrey Myn is currently recruiting for experienced and passionate Social Workers to join high-performing Children’s Services teams within a well-established local authority. The Opportunity:You will work across specialist children’s services teams, managing a varied caseload and delivering high-quality statutory social work interventions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing assessments and safeguarding interventions
- Managing child protection and care planning processes
- Working directly with children and families to achieve positive change
- Building effective multi-agency partnerships
- Promoting the voice and lived experience of children in all decision-making
- Delivering clear, outcome-focused plans that improve long-term stability
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW or equivalent)
- Registered or in process of registering with the HCPC
- UK statutory children’s social work experience
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and child protection processes
- Excellent assessment, analytical and communication skills
- A compassionate, resilient and child-centred approach
