Social Media & Content Manager – Personal Brand

Full-Time | Bournemouth (Hybrid – 3 days in the office)

Your Mission

As Social Media & Content Manager (Personal Brand) for Tom Gozney, you’ll own and operate his digital presence end-to-end. This role is about bringing structure, clarity and consistency to a fast-moving, founder-led environment – turning ideas, moments and opportunities into a steady stream of high-quality content.

You’ll work closely with Tom and a dedicated Content Creator to shape, define and own the social strategy – identifying what should be captured, helping structure shoots and content opportunities, and ensuring everything aligns to a clear plan.

You’ll be responsible for taking that strategy from concept through to execution – ensuring it is consistently applied, rolled out and refined over time.

While the Content Creator leads on creative execution, you’ll ensure the right content gets made, at the right time, for the right platforms.

This role is as much about organisation, prioritisation and decision-making as it is about creativity.

NB. This role sits within the Gozney Family Office, working closely with Tom Gozney on his personal brand, but remains closely connected to the wider Gozney team and ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Own the Content Calendar

  • Lead and maintain a clear, structured content calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Define what gets posted, what needs to be created, and ensure it’s delivered

Run the Day-to-Day Operation

  • Take full ownership of the day-to-day running of Tom’s social presence.
  • You will prioritise content opportunities, manage timelines and output, ensure nothing falls through the cracks, and bring order to a fast-moving environment.

Structure Content Creation

  • Work in close partnership with the Content Creator to ensure content is captured effectively.
  • You will identify key moments and opportunities, help structure filming days and shoots, ensure the right content is being captured, and keep output aligned to the wider plan.

Work Closely with Tom

  • Collaborate directly with Tom to understand priorities and focus areas, identify content opportunities, and translate ideas into output.
  • You’ll ensure his time is used effectively and intentionally.

Channels & Growth

  • Own day-to-day channel management including publishing, community engagement, and audience growth.
  • Build an audience that feels engaged, not just accumulated.

Track Performance & Optimise

  • Go beyond surface-level metrics.
  • You will understand what’s working and why, use insights to shape future content, and continuously refine strategy.

Stay Ahead of Culture

  • Stay plugged into social trends, platform shifts, and cultural moments.
  • Use this to inform better decisions, not just chase trends.

Align with the Wider Gozney Team

  • Work closely with the Gozney social and content team to stay aligned on key campaigns, product launches and brand initiatives
  • Identify opportunities where Tom’s content can support, amplify or complement wider Gozney activity
  • Ensure both Tom’s channels and Gozney’s channels feel connected, not siloed

You Are…

  • An operator first, with a strong understanding of social and content.
  • You are highly organised and proactive, bring structure to chaos, make decisions confidently, and don’t wait for direction.
  • You’re comfortable working alongside a founder and a Content Creator.
  • You’re comfortable making decisions and setting direction, not just executing against a brief
  • You’re able to form clear opinions and recommendations, even in ambiguous or fast-moving situations
  • You understand where you add value – creating clarity, identifying opportunities, and ensuring execution happens.
  • You don’t need to be the most creative person in the room, but you do need to know what should be captured, when, and why.

Experience

  • 3-5 years in social media management or content strategy
  • Experience running or owning a content function end-to-end
  • Strong experience across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritise and manage content at pace
  • Experience working with founders or senior stakeholders
  • Experience collaborating with videographers or content creators
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn for thought leadership
