A growing construction and refurbishment services provider is seeking an experienced Responsive Repairs Co-Ordinator to join their team in Billericay. This role is perfect for someone with a background in social housing repairs or property maintenance, who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and manage repair works for residential, commercial, and industrial properties
- Liaise with customers to arrange appointments and follow-up on completed works
- Maintain accurate records of repair requests and job progress
- Communicate with contractors and in-house teams to ensure timely completion
- Track and report on ongoing repairs and related costs
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
- Ensure compliance with company and health & safety policies
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in repairs and maintenance (required)
- Experience in social housing or construction environments preferred
- Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and scheduling software
- Knowledge of responsive repairs or facilities management is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
