Operations Technician
Location: Bridgend
Pay: £18.17 per hour
Contract: Temporary
Shifts:
24/7 rotating shift pattern consisting of 12-hour shifts:
- 6:00am – 6:00pm
- 6:00pm – 6:00am
- Shifts will include weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays on a rotating basis.
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an operations Technician to join a busy production environment for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous production or manufacturing experience who are looking to join a fast-paced operational team.
Key Responsibilities- Operating and supporting production line activities
- Monitoring production yields and escalating issues in line with reaction escalation procedures
- Monitoring and topping up consumables on production lines as required
- Preparing materials and equipment for use within the ECA (Environmentally Controlled Area)
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the work area
- Working collaboratively with the wider operations team to ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved
- Following all site safety, hygiene and operational procedures at all times
Requirements:- Relevant production/manufacturing or operational experience
- Good communication skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach due to the demands of the operation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
