We are looking for a hands-on Electronics / Hardware Engineer to design and develop microcontroller and application processor-based embedded systems. This role sits at the hardwaresoftware boundary, involving board-level design, firmware development, and Linux bring-up.
What youll do:
- Design and developanalogue/digital circuitsandPCB layouts
- Performboard bring-up, debugging, and prototype validation
- Integrate hardware withfirmware and embedded Linux systems
- Collaborate across teams throughout thefull product lifecycle
- SupportEMC compliance, testing, and production readiness
What were looking for:
- 5+ yearselectronics/hardware engineering experience
- Experience withmicrocontrollers(ARM Cortex-M, STM32, PIC) andapplication processors(ARM Cortex-A or similar)
- Stronghardware debuggingand lab skills (oscilloscope, logic analyser, etc.)
- Knowledge ofSPI, IC, UART, CAN, and high-speed interfaces
- Experience withembedded firmware and Linux bring-up
- An engineer who focuses on outcomes and delivers at pace
- Strong judgement in balancing speed, quality, and maintainability
- Ability to prioritise high-impact work and avoid low-value tasks
- Practical, solution-oriented mindset
Nice to have:
- x86 systems (Intel/AMD) experience
- Mains voltage / SMPS design experience
- Wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, LoRa)
- Manufacturing or production test experience
