Role: Mechanical Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Fitter
Salary: £44,000 to £45,000 per annum + paid overtime + benefits and opportunities to progress up through their salary grades and receive enhancements
Hours: Days (6am to 6pm) on a continental shift pattern (working 7 out of every 14 days)
Location: Commutable from Durham, Darlington, Stockton on Tees, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Sunderland and surrounding areas

Responsibilities Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, working Days (6am to 6pm) on a continental shift pattern (working 7 out of every 14 days). Your role will include:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery.
- Dealing with machinery breakdowns and problems, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
- Assisting with planned shut-downs and project work, refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts.
- Assist being hands on in other areas of the factory when needed
Requirements- Completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical Engineering qualifications
- Experience in a similar environment; Industrial, Production or Manufacturing environments - most considered
- Maintenance experience; dealing with machinery and equipment problems and breakdowns and/or completing preventative maintenance of plant/industrial machinery
- Any experience of SOME of the following; Belts, Chains, Gear Boxes, Pumps, Bearings, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding and Fabricating etc
- Motivated and driven to succeed
- Willing to take on and complete further training as part of your growth and development in the factory and company
