Were working with a well-established local manufacturer who are continuing to invest heavily in their production capabilities and engineering team. Theyre known for running a tight, efficient operation and giving their engineers real ownership when it comes to improving how things are done.


Theyre now looking to bring in a Manufacturing Engineer who can get stuck into the shop floor, identify inefficiencies, and actually drive improvements that make a difference. Youll be hands-on, working closely with production, and seeing your ideas rolled out in real time.


Day-to-day, youll be:
Analysing current production processes and identifying areas for improvement
Implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Supporting new product introduction from an engineering perspective
Working closely with production teams to resolve issues and improve efficiency
Driving cost reduction without compromising quality
Ensuring best practice standards are followed across the shop floor


What Theyre Looking For
Experience in a manufacturing or production engineering environment in a similar role
Strong problem solving mindset
Good understanding of lean / continuous improvement principles
Comfortable being on the shop floor and working cross-functionally
Engineering qualification is ideal but not essential with the right experience


Whats On Offer
Salary up to £45,000
Flexible working option of a 4 or 4.5 day week
