*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a passion for food preparation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, covering over 1500 meals a week. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in hospitality and culinary arts to develop their skills further.

*Duties*

* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards * Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations * Manage food production processes, maintaining consistency and quality across all menu items * Oversee food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards * Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction * Assist in menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and inventory management * Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment * Train new team members on food preparation techniques and safety protocols

*Skills*

* Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or hospitality setting * Supervising experience with team management capabilities * Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices * Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively * Proficiency in food preparation, culinary techniques, and restaurant service standards * Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Good organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control * Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
