Accounts Assistant
Pertemps are working with an established Manufacturing business based in Southampton who are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a full time, permanent position.
Responsibilities as an Accounts Assistant:
- Reconciliation of sales invoice with despatch notes and chasing proof of delivery
- Reconciliation of purchase invoices with internal purchase orders
- Raise tenant invoices, maintaining a record of their electricity and gas usage
- Assist with maintaining the work order database
- General office duties; including, filing, scanning and reception duties
- Provide administrative support
Requirements:
- Minium of 1-2 years Accounting experience
- Proven administration experience
- AAT Qualification is desirable
- Enthusiastic and keen to learn
- Excellent attention to detail
The Accounts Assistant role:
- Starting Salary of £28,000
- Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising up to 25 days with length of service)
