About the Role

Reporting into senior leadership, the Senior Lead Analyst will be responsible for developing analytical models, interpreting complex datasets, and delivering strategic insights to support market development and operational planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced forecasting and analytical models
• Conduct scenario analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Analyse complex market and system data to identify trends and opportunities
• Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders
• Support projects linked to market development, regulatory change, and cross-border collaboration
• Lead large-scale analytical projects and provide mentorship to junior team members
• Drive continuous improvement in analytical methodologies, systems, and tools
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams

About You

• Third-level qualification in Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' experience in data analysis and modelling within a complex or energy-related environment
• Strong analytical and technical skills, including experience with Python, R, and advanced Excel
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Proven experience leading analytical projects or mentoring team members
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Experience within energy markets or regulated industries is highly desirable
