Job Description Working closely with Integration Developers, BI teams, Data Architects, and platform teams, the Integrations Architect will assure solution design quality, guide engineering teams, and support the evolution of the integration layer in alignment with ISS data, security, and cloud strategies. Key Responsibilities Define and maintain integration architecture standards and patterns across ISS UK. Design target-state integration architectures aligned with data, security, and cloud strategies. Establish guidance on appropriate use of APIs, events, batch integrations, and platform-native capabilities. Produce and review high-level and detailed integration designs for initiatives and client contracts. Act as a design authority, providing assurance on API design, security, resiliency, error handling, and observability. Collaborate closely with Integration Developers to translate architecture into buildable, delivery-focused solutions. Define standard usage patterns for Azure integration services, including API Management, Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, and event-driven services. Engage stakeholders, customers, and suppliers on interface design, data contracts, and integration onboarding approaches. Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Experience in an Integrations Architect, Solution Architect, or Senior Integration Engineer role. Strong understanding of API-led integration and modern integration patterns. Hands-on experience designing integrations on the Microsoft Azure platform. Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, OpenAPI specifications, and authentication and authorisation for external integrations. Proven ability to collaborate with delivery teams and influence technical direction. Very strong technical background in APIs and system integrations, including building and managing multiple integrations.
