Forklift Driver / Yard Operative Location: Barnsley Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (full-time) ongoing About the role: We are currently seeking a Forklift Driver / Yard Operative to join our client located in Barnsley for an ongoing position. This role involves a mix of forklift operation and general yard duties, supporting the smooth running of daily operations. Key responsibilities: Operating a forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials Managing stock within the yard, ensuring accurate storage and organisation Assisting with deliveries and dispatch Carrying out general yard duties as required Following all health and safety procedures at all times What we are looking for: Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance essential; other licences beneficial) Previous experience in a similar role preferred Willingness to carry out manual handling tasks as part of daily duties Ability to work independently and as part of a team Why work for Driver Hire: Driver Hire Doncaster is part of Driver Hire Nationwide, the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics recruiter.
