Team Secretary Child Protection | Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust

Company: Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust

Location: Coventry

Posted: May 8th, 2026

We are seeking an organised, compassionate and highly professional Admin Support staff member to join the Community Paediatrics service, working specifically with the Non-Accidental Injuries (NAI) team as part of the team secretaries team. This role is essential in supporting clinicians and safeguarding professionals who work with children, young people and families where there are concerns about potential harm or abuse.

The post holder will provide high‑quality administrative and clerical support, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the NAI service. You will handle sensitive and confidential information daily, maintain accurate patient records, prepare documentation for child protection assessments, and act as a key point of contact for families, social care, police and other partner agencies. Excellent communication, discretion and empathy are therefore vital.

This is a varied and fast‑paced role that requires attention to detail, resilience, strong IT skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider administrative team. Due to the nature of NAI work, you will need to be comfortable working with distressing or emotional information and demonstrate professionalism at all times.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for administrative excellence, safeguarding, and supporting high‑quality services for children and families across Coventry and Warwickshire.

At Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT), we deliver a wide range of physical, mental health, learning disability and autism services, and are proud to serve communities across Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond.

We put ‘people at our heart’; this ethos is at the centre of everything we do and how we do it. We care for our staff and colleagues as much as they care for others and offer a wide range of benefits and development opportunities.
