Senior Legal Counsel – FTC

Location: Pall Mall, London (Flexible Hybrid)

Department: Legal

Job type: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Role and Responsibilities

  • Legal due diligence on existing contracts and identify legal risks relevant to Projects.
  • Drafting, reviewing and managing contracts, corporate documents, corporate approvals and documents relevant to support legal aspects of Projects.
  • Managing local and corporate counsel, proactive management of legal workstreams to ensure on‑time delivery of Project objectives and milestones.
  • Ongoing and effective reporting of current status of workstreams.
  • Collaboration with a wider Project team.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and guidelines.

What you’ll bring

  • Law or other degree and qualification as lawyer in England & Wales or other Commonwealth jurisdiction
  • Proven post-qualified experience
  • Previous experience working on corporate projects and corporate structures would be ideal
  • Background experience working in a law firm would be preferred
  • Experience in drafting legal documentation
  • Pragmatic and solutions-focused
  • Confident and credible, demonstrating a proven track record of commitment and achievement
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, demonstrating initiative in process optimisation, and operational efficiency, with a strong sense of accountability
  • Analytical, organisational and project management skills to effectively manage tasks and projects
  • Previous Pharmaceutical industry experience may be advantageous but not essential
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to facilitate effective communication
