Overview
We are seeking a skilled Testing Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of IT testing activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services. This role will play a central part in defining test strategies, coordinating resources, and ensuring that all testing aligns effectively with client expectations and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and define the testing scope.
- Develop test strategies and plans, including defining test types, tools, and environments.
- Estimate resources, timelines, and budgets required for testing activities.
- Set up and maintain appropriate test environments.
- Assign testing tasks to team members and track progress.
- Manage the testing team, consolidate results, and ensure issues are documented and addressed.
- Communicate progress and new requirements with clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor testing goals to ensure alignment with defined quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT test management or a similar role.
- Experience delivering large, complex IT projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks (preferred).
- Previous people management experience is desirable.
