Shop Manager – Full Time

Position: Shop Manager (Full Time) – 45 hours across 5 days per week, based in Mitcham, Merton, Greater London.

Annual salary: £34,262.76 – £48,343.08 (45‑hour contract).

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and manage day‑to‑day operations of a busy shop.
• Motivate and inspire the retail team to deliver efficient service and high customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, induct, coach and develop the team, building a talent pipeline.
• Ensure shop is clean, safe, stocked, and that customer needs are met promptly.
• Control key shop costs (shrinkage, waste, payroll) and meet KPI targets; report to area manager.
• Meet standards in customer service, cash handling, health & safety, stock management, merchandising and presentation.

• Trustworthy, reliable; dependable team member.
• Experience as a shop or assistant manager.
• Full driving licence desirable (not mandatory).
• Willingness to complete Employment Verification and appropriate DBS or Disclosure Scotland checks if offered.

Contract Information

Permanent full‑time position, 45 hours per week at 5 days per week.
