You’ll be responsible for ensuring the best customer experience in the branch. Your leadership skills and commercial mindset will drive results from your team.
We need a Branch Manager for our branch in Kingswinford, Staffordshire.
This is a 9‑month secondment opportunity working part‑time, 17.5 hours per week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The salary will be pro‑rata.
You must be within a 45‑minute commute of the branch, and be able to work remotely if needed.
Your training will be virtual and branch‑based. The first three weeks are critical; no holiday may be taken during that period.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage the branch floor and ensure staff are trained and performing at their best.
- Handle a high level of customer expectations and possess in‑depth knowledge of all products and services.
- Create and implement the branch business plan.
- Stay organised, work quickly while delivering excellent service, with support from the management team.
- Use the bank’s computer systems and processes (training will be provided).
About you
- Have experience managing people and working in a busy retail environment.
- Lead by example, with commercial acumen and knowledge of financial regulations and processes.
- Monitor and analyse branch activity to spot improvement opportunities.
- Be resilient, versatile, flexible, and able to prioritise effectively amid changing demands.
- Previous branch manager experience in a retail environment is desirable.
- Must meet FCA standards and deliver top‑notch customer service.
