Financial Reporting Manager

The role

Thisisahigh-impactrolewhereyouwillleadfinancialreporting,technicalaccountingandgovernanceacrossacomplexgroupstructure.Youwillactasthego-topersonforreporting,ensuringaccuracy,complianceandbestpractice,whilealsodrivingimprovementsacrossthewiderfinancefunction.

Key responsibilities

• Leadmonthly,quarterlyandannualreportingcycles,includinggroupconsolidation
• Ownstatutoryaccountspreparationandexternalreportingrequirements
• ActasthetechnicalaccountingleadacrossIFRSandUKGAAP
• Overseetaxcompliance,includingVAT,CorporationTaxandotherregulatoryobligations
• Managerelationshipswithexternalauditorsandadvisors
• Supportbudgeting,forecastingandKPIreportingprocesses
• Contributetoacquisitions,financeprojectsandprocessimprovements
• Strengthenfinancialcontrols,governanceandreportingframeworks

About you

• Qualifiedaccountant(ACA,ACCAorCIMA)
• Strongbackgroundinfinancialreportingandtechnicalaccounting
• Experiencewithinamulti-entityorcomplexenvironment
• Workingknowledgeoftaxandcompliancerequirements
• Confidentcommunicatorwiththeabilitytoengagestakeholdersacrossthebusiness
• Proactiveapproachwithafocusoncontinuousimprovement
