Amentum is a global leader in engineering, project and programme management, and solutions integration. Built on strong programme and engineering delivery experience, supported by deep specialist capabilities, Amentum is a recognised partner across major UK Government and commercial programmes.

Our Defence & Security business supports the UK Ministry of Defence in delivering their capability and objectives across land, sea, air, and corporate domains. The work contributes directly to national and international security, and our teams take pride in the meaningful impact of what they do. The framework allows our employees to work across a wide range of innovative programmes, providing opportunities to grow their skills and experience. Our support structures ensure employee wellbeing, professional development, and career progression are prioritised.

People are at the centre of what we do. We offer a competitive package designed to attract and retain talent. In addition to standard benefits, UK employees receive free single medical cover, digital GP services, enhanced family-friendly policies, employee assistance programmes, and reimbursement for professional development. Our community initiatives include matched-funding schemes, paid volunteering, and charitable contributions.

About the Opportunity

This is not a typical consultancy role; we are seeking someone who enjoys working collaboratively with technical and military colleagues to deliver practical, effective business solutions. The role also supports the development of a growing strategic consulting capability within Amentum and helps build our enterprise design and transformation knowledge base.

As an expert in enterprise design and transformation, you will provide day-to-day leadership within client projects, help maintain strong and trusting client relationships, and contribute directly to hands‑on delivery. You will act as a supportive and informed advisor to senior clients, offering guidance that helps shape their thinking and supports positive outcomes.
