We have an opening for a Site Engineer to join a large HV Transmissions project in Plymouth, supporting the new Springwell Solar Farm and Battery Storage projects.
Responsibilities
- Managing a package of site works or subcontractors.
- Ensuring that site surveys and records are provided as required.
- Working with project managers, site managers, supervisors, and suppliers to coordinate, develop and review safe system compliance and other daily processes.
- Ensuring all on‑site activities are recorded through daily diaries, production control schedules, and photographs.
- Reviewing drawings and raising technical queries relating to the design team.
Qualifications
- Understanding of engineering principles.
- Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices.
- Full Clean Driver’s Licence.
- Civil Engineering related qualification (HNC, HND, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng).
- Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme – SSSTS (CITB).
- Safety Passport CCNSG.
- SHEA Power.
- Persons Substation (NG).
- First Aid.
- Manual Handling / Moving & Handling Principles.
- HSG47 / CAT & Genny.
- Temporary Works Supervisor (CITB).
