Tenancy Engagement and Enforcement Officer (2 year fixed term contract)

Grade 8: £40,331 - £44,107 per annum

37 hours per week

Are you passionate about protecting tenants, improving standards in the private rented sector, and helping people sustain their tenancies? If so, we’re looking for a proactive and skilled professional to join our Housing and Environmental Health service.

This is a new role that has been created in response to the introduction of the Renters Rights Act 2025. The varied and rewarding role sits between our Private Sector Housing and Housing Needs teams, combining tenancy advice, mediation, investigation, and enforcement in the private rented sector. You’ll play a key role in protecting tenants from unlawful practices, identifying landlord breaches and supporting enforcement action as appropriate.
