An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated RCN to join the Harrow Community Paediatrics team as a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Paediatric Nurse. This dynamic role supports high‑quality, family‑centred care for children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions including ADHD, autism, epilepsy, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and complex neurodisability.

You will act as a key clinical liaison, coordinating care with families, schools, GPs, therapists, hospitals and multi‑agency partners. A key focus will be supporting the ADHD pathway through baseline assessments, medication monitoring aligned with NICE guidance, safe prescribing processes, and reducing waiting times via nurse‑led follow‑ups / titration.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to specialist assessments, nurse‑led clinics, safeguarding, Education Health and Care advice, and transitions to adult services. The role also includes supporting service development, audit, QI and parent/carer education.

This post requires excellent communication, strong clinical judgement, safeguarding expertise and the ability to manage a complex caseload independently. Applicants must hold NMC registration as a Registered Children’s Nurse with relevant neurodevelopmental experience. A Non‑Medical Prescribing qualification (or willingness to undertake one) is desirable.
