Job Description:

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Procurement Administrator on a 12-month fixed‑term contract to support the Procurement Team in delivering an efficient, compliant, and value‑driven purchasing service in a healthcare environment.

Job Responsibilities

You will be at the heart of the procurement process, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time. Duties include:

  • Supporting internal teams with obtaining quotes and sourcing suppliers
  • Ensuring value for money across purchases
  • Tracking contract expiry dates and coordinating renewals
  • Managing and updating supplier and contract records
  • Maintaining the asset register for company equipment
  • Handling supplier queries and supporting day‑to‑day communication
  • Assisting with market research to identify best‑value options
  • Supporting procurement systems and ordering processes

Qualifications

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • A strong communicator who can build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
  • Comfortable using systems and Excel
  • Proactive, adaptable, and keen to learn
  • Previous experience in an administrative role is essential; exposure to procurement or purchasing processes would be advantageous but not required

About the Organization

We are Integrated Care 24 (IC24), a leading not‑for‑profit social enterprise providing innovative and patient‑focused primary care services. IC24 serves over 6 million patients across GP‑led out‑of‑hours services, NHS 111, primary and secondary care support services.

Location & Working Arrangements

Ashford, Kent. Expected to be in the office two days per week.

Contract Details

12‑month fixed‑term contract.
