Supply Chain Planner (BBBH17850)

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner on an initial 12‑month contract. As the Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for the planning and management of all transactional elements of parts supply to ensure that the master schedule is achieved, maintained and optimised.
Pay: £29 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland
Contract: Monday – Friday, 36 hours per week (Mon–Thu 8:15‑4:45, Fri 8‑12). 12 month contract.
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS
Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely reporting and governance of supply chain data to the Operations team
- Communication of Parts Supply Enablement profiles
- Maintain operational systems to the highest levels of data accuracy
- Parameter management to ensure optimum utilisation of assets
- Work within and support a Natural Team
- Provide and analyse forward load and capacity plans to ensure success, including Line of Balance updates
- Timely delivery of parts to shop floor and external customers
Qualifications
- Minimum of an HNC or a relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPIM, CIPS)
- At least 2 years of relevant experience within Supply Chain
- Lesser‑qualified candidates with at least 3 years of relevant experience will also be considered
- Knowledge and experience of MRP Planning System is essential
- Basic working knowledge of related Supply Chain processes
- Knowledge of Thermal Vacuum techniques/systems & space environmental conditions in a test environment
