We’re delighted to be working exclusively on a newly created Team Operations Coordinator role within a highly successful, tech‑forward alternative investment management firm. With a strong presence across global markets and a fast‑paced trading environment, the business offers an exceptional opportunity to join a collaborative and high‑performing team based in central London. This is a varied, hands‑on role supporting one or more trading desks and offers real scope to shape how things are done as the function continues to grow.

The Role

• Support onboarding of new joiners onto the trading desk, coordinating inductions and day‑one logistics
• Manage desk moves and trading floor space planning, using strong emotional intelligence to understand team dynamics
• Coordinate logistics for visitors and external guests
• Organise team events ranging from small dinners to larger social gatherings
• Support learning and development initiatives including training sessions, speaker events and feedback processes
• Work closely with traders and administrative teams to improve communication, efficiency and desk‑wide processes
• Act as a key go‑to person for day‑to‑day operational flow and coordination across the desk

This role will suit someone highly organised, proactive and genuinely people‑focused, who thrives in a fast‑moving, ever‑changing environment. You’ll need strong emotional intelligence, confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and the ability to manage multiple priorities at pace. While experience within financial services is advantageous, it is not essential – what matters most is a client service mindset, adaptability, attention to detail and a calm, solutions‑oriented approach. You should enjoy improving processes, spotting inefficiencies and taking ownership from start to finish.
